Hong Kong-based restaurant chain Cali-Mex Taqueria has opened in Thailand at the Holiday Inn Shopping Complex.
The launch of the new 60sqm shop follows the opening of the brand’s sister chain Cali-Mex Bar & Grill earlier in the year on Sukhumvit Soi 22. Both brands serve variations on the Californian Mexican cuisine. It will largely target guests of the hotel.
Cali-Mex Bar & Grill operates 20 outlets in Hong Kong, a figure that Thai franchisee King Mega International intends to match within three years.
A flagship is currently being planned for Sukhumvit Soi 11, potentially opening this December.
