L’Oréal opens Maison Lancôme at Beijing airport

The podium is the company’s biggest and most prominent in Asia

lancomeL’Oréal Travel Retail has unveiled a new 150sq m Maison Lancôme at Beijing airport terminal three, marking an important milestone for the company in Asian travel-retail.

The “huge, striking podium” is the biggest and most prominent in Asia (nearly four times the size of previous Absolue podiums), said L’Oréal.

Being the second busiest airport in the world, the company sees Beijing airport as the perfect strategic location to welcome Maison Lancôme. The airport’s T3 is also the biggest airport terminal in the world (98 hectares).

“True to the unparalled standards of a leading beauty brand, the staging design of the podium reflects all luxury codes of Lancôme. The clever zonings of the podium allow travellers to discover the latest cutting-edge skincare, makeup, and fragrance products of a true three-axe brand. The spacious skincare consultation area hosts a sophisticated skincare analysis machine, proving to be an effective sales tool. To highlight the star of the brand, a special focus on Advanced Genifique features an exhibition of the iconic little black bottle. Retail excellence is demonstrated by the eye-catching staging of Absolue and Absolue L’Extrait which is sure to seduce customers in search of luxury, prestige, and cutting-edge technology,” said L’Oréal.
The Maison houses dedicated make-up and fragrance discovery areas that allow customers to experience the new La vie est belle Eau de Toilette, as well as the latest make-up products and techniques.
Maison Lancôme at Beijing airport is also the first to showcase the brand statement of “Wonderland in Asia Pacific” and opens the doors to invite customers to experience the magical world of Lancome in 3D.
