Baskin-Robbins expands to Hanoi

Two new Baskin-Robbins facilities opened to business in HCMC on Tuesday, raising the total number in the country to 14.

Baskin-Robbins, which is owned by Dunkin’ Brands Group Inc., was officially launched in Vietnam in late 2011 via franchisee Blue Star Food.
The opening of the two new stores in HCMC and another in Hanoi is part of a business expansion strategy after over one year of development in HCMC.
The Hanoi outlet is the first step in a plan of expanding operations to other provinces and cities like Danang, Can Tho and Nha Trang so as to achieve around 50 Baskin-Robbins stores in Vietnam in 2015.
According to Nigel Travis, chairman and CEO of Dunkin’ Brands, Dunkin Donuts will enter Vietnam late this year via Vietnam Food & Beverage Service Company Limited.
Vietnam Food & Beverage Service Company Limited is a food and beverage franchising company of many leading brands such as Burger King, Domino’s Pizza and Popeyes.
