Paris Baguette, an affiliate of the South-Korea based SPC Group, last week launched its first bakery and cafe in District 3.

The two-storey cafe at the corner of Cao Thang and Nguyen Thi Minh Khai streets offers 80 kinds of breads, 40 cream cakes and 40 drinks on the ground floor. The first floor is divided into two spaces for guests to choose from. An air-conditioned area is facilitated with elegant white and purple interiors while the outdoor area is where guests can enjoy the street view.
Cakes are priced from VND12,000 to VND720,000 while beverages are priced from VND25,000 to VND55,000.
The second and third Paris Baguette stores are expected to open on May and October on Hai Ba Trung Street and the Vincom Center II.
Established in 1988, there are now over 3,000 Paris Baguette stores in South Korea. From 2004, Paris
Baguette entered the overseas markets of China with 78 stores and the U.S. with 18 stores. Vietnam is the first Southeast Asian country for the bread brand.
The SPC Group aims to set up 300 stores in Vietnam by 2020.
