Currently with over 100 sites across the US and Canada, Tilted Kilt premises are generally between 500 and 750 sq m with average total annual revenues of US$2.2m.
Customers tend to be between 25-49 years old, with a ratio of 75:25 male to female customers, and the average spend per head is US$16.50. The food/alcohol split is 50/50.
Every site has at least 24 beers available on draught, pub food and between 30 and 40 HDTVs showing sport as well as pool tables and dart boards.
The key to the brand’s success to date is its serving team who wear Celtic themed outfits and undergo extensive training, according to Tilted Kilt president Ron Lynch.
“We aim to be the best, most respected, most recognisable, and entertaining sports pub in the world, through unrivalled service and hospitality, and after real success in the US, we’re now seeking global domination,” he said.
“We’ll provide extensive support throughout the launch process for franchisees, beginning with five weeks of training at our corporate headquarters in Tempe, Arizona.”
