Vietnam first destination for Keller Williams overseas expansion

Real estate franchise company Keller Williams Realty Inc. has signed a brokerage in Vietnam as its first overseas “master franchise,” and is in discussions with potential franchisees in South Africa, New Zealand, Indonesia, Egypt and several Middle Eastern countries, the company said.

Keller Williams announced it will offer overseas franchisees and associates tools including coaching and training, as well as a worldwide version of eEdge, the company’s integrated lead management, contact management and marketing platform.
The number of offices needed to support the market and territories awarded will be up to the master franchisor in each market, in consultation with Keller Williams Worldwide.
As a master franchise, KW Vietnam will provide Keller Williams services to other brokerages in the country that wish to affiliate with the brand. Brokerages in Vietnam will sign on with KW Vietnam, and the entire Keller Williams tool kit and brand will be available to them, the company said.
KW Vietnam President Paul Mason has nearly 20 years of experience in real estate in Vietnam, Keller Williams said, including leadership positions at the international firm Cushman & Wakefield and NAI Vietnam.
Mason received a bachelor’s degree in estate management from Southbank Polytechnic in London and is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), where he serves as chairman in Vietnam.
