Chinese bubble tea chain Cha Bai Dao, widely known as ChaPanda, is set to open its first U.S. bubble tea store in Flushing, Queens, New York City.
The new ChaPanda tea shop will be located on Main Street in Flushing, one of New York’s busiest commercial hubs and home to one of the largest Chinese communities in the United States.

ChaPanda’s overseas CEO, Wang Huan, said the New York opening marks a major step in the brand’s global expansion strategy. “With a standardized operating system and international supply chain, ChaPanda ensures consistent quality across its bubble tea stores worldwide. Our goal is to offer American consumers a wide selection of milk tea, fruit tea, and specialty drinks with reliable service,” he said.
The Queens launch follows ChaPanda’s first European bubble tea store in Paris and two new outlets in Singapore earlier this year.
Market analysts from Galaxy Securities and Huaxin Securities noted that ChaPanda’s “one location, one strategy” approach is delivering results overseas. With its international rollout accelerating, ChaPanda is expected to strengthen growth through both its domestic milk tea market and overseas bubble tea expansion.
