Crunch Fitness is deepening its presence in the Greater Atlanta market with the announcement of two new state-of-the-art facilities in Newnan, Georgia and Lilburn, Georgia. Both locations will feature the brand’s innovative Crunch 3.0 design, representing a combined investment of approximately $10 million and creating over 140 new jobs in the region.
The two new locations — Crunch Newnan at 1098 Bullsboro Drive, Suite 15, and Crunch Stone Mountain at 4051 Stone Mountain Highway, Unit D105 in Lilburn — are each 30,000+ square-foot facilities scheduled to open in fall 2026. Both gyms will be operated by Blue Ridge Fitness Holdings LLC, a subsidiary of CR Fitness Holdings, one of the largest Crunch Fitness franchisees in the United States.
The Crunch 3.0 design concept combines modern aesthetics with enhanced functionality, delivering what the brand describes as an elevated gym-goer experience. This is the same design format being rolled out at new Crunch locations in Texas and other high-growth markets across the country.
Both locations will offer an extensive range of amenities, including expanded strength and functional training areas, top-quality cardio and strength equipment, certified personal training, and World-Famous Group Fitness classes. Additional features include hot yoga studios, Olympic lifting platforms, power half-hour circuit training, and the brand’s signature HIITZone™ functional training area with indoor turf.
Recovery-focused amenities will include infrared saunas, HydroMassage beds, CryoLounge, Human Touch massage chairs, and tanning services. Crunch Stone Mountain will also feature Ride cycling classes as an additional offering.
Blue Ridge Fitness Holdings currently operates 15 Crunch gyms across the Greater Atlanta metropolitan area and is on track to reach 17 total locations by the end of 2026. Its parent company, CR Fitness Holdings, serves over one million members nationwide and is backed by investment firms North Castle Partners and Sixth Street.
CR Fitness Holdings is on track to operate 110 locations nationwide this year, reflecting the aggressive expansion strategy that has made Crunch one of the fastest-growing fitness franchises in the world.
The Atlanta expansion comes as Crunch Fitness continues to climb in industry rankings. The brand was recently ranked #2 in the fitness category and #20 overall in the annual Entrepreneur Franchise 500®, up from #32 the previous year. Crunch was also recognized on the Inc. 5000 list of America’s fastest-growing companies.
Headquartered in New York City, Crunch Fitness currently serves 3.5 million members with over 550 gyms worldwide across 41 states, the District of Columbia, and six international markets including Australia, Canada, Costa Rica, Puerto Rico, and India.
Prospective members at the new Atlanta locations can reserve founding memberships at discounted rates starting at $9.99 per month with $0 enrollment fees. The first 500 founding members at each location will receive exclusive perks including a free t-shirt and discounts on personal training.
