His core strengths include franchise sales and marketing, franchise operations, strategic planning, entrepreneurship, finance, project management, and general management. Sean is a regular speaker at various international franchising events and conferences organized by businesses and governments globally, including Japan, Korea, Singapore, Taiwan, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Philippines, Vietnam, the US, the UK, and more.
Prior to co-founding VF Franchise Consulting, Sean worked at many Fortune 500 companies, including Microsoft Corporation, Coldwell Banker, National Semiconductor Corporation, and Lockheed Martin. He has an MBA from the University of San Francisco (USF) and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from California State University, San Jose (SJSU). He is a formerly registered Project Management Professional (PMP®) as certified by the Project Management Institute, USA. He also lectures at Asian, European and Australian MBA programmes in the subjects of Franchising, Entrepreneurship, Strategy, International Business, Leadership, and Project Management.
Sean has spent the last eighteen years living and working in Vietnam. Sean’s key values as an Asian-American are integrity, honesty, respect, transparency, persistence, and family. These fundamental beliefs are critical to his career and personal success.
