Starbucks India plans to open 10 new stores, increasing its network to 145 by the end of this year.

“We are looking at activating more store rollouts in the next few years,” said Tata Global Group CFO L Krishnakumar.

Starbucks India is a joint venture of Starbucks and Tata Global Group. It reported growth of about 30 per cent during the December quarter.

The chain has recently started offering food delivery through online food aggregator apps, including Swiggy.

The first Starbucks India store opened at Horniman Circle in Mumbai in 2012. The company sources 90 per cent of its coffee from Tata Global’s subsidiary Tata Coffee, which also ships some of its premium coffee to the US and other markets.
