Despite the economy’s impact, it is anticipated that the e-commerce sector would increase by around 15% in 2022, reaching a value of about 13.2 billion USD.
According to the Vietnam E-commerce Association (VECOM), Vietnam e-commerce has entered a new phase with the emphasis on rapid and consistent growth since 2016. This time frame might extend from 2016 to 2025.
Faced with the current situation of the economy, it is anticipated that our country’s e-commerce would still increase by approximately 15% in 2020, reaching a scale of about 13.2 billion USD.
With the fast shift in online purchasing habits of customers worldwide, particularly in Vietnam, Vietnam’s e-commerce and trade promotion efforts in the online environment continue to make steady growth. Ensure and sustain quick and sustainable growth.
However, many firms now have high-quality goods and products but are unaware of the use of information technology in general, let alone e-commerce, or are unwilling to deploy trade promotion operations across several platforms. This is the primary shortcoming of the great majority of Vietnamese businesses.
In particular, because of the severe impact of the Covid-19 epidemic, most manufacturing businesses are having difficulty doing business and promoting items to home and global clients.
Against that backdrop, the Ministry of Industry and Trade has allocated the Vietnam E-commerce Association to host “The Fair for linking trade and boosting trade in e-commerce applications (ECOMMERCE EXPO 2022)”.
Online exhibition activities combined with the traditional exhibition model (offline form) will provide more opportunities for manufacturing and service businesses to access new solutions while also introducing to customers and partners through online promotion channels, making it easier to expand their business activities.
The ECOMMERCE EXPO 2022 exhibition is organized with a number of large aims in mind, one of which is to develop an online platform to spread information about e-commerce firms and manufacturing organizations around the country.
This event also provides chances for bilateral or multilateral discussions and collaboration between businesses that provide e-commerce promotion solutions and businesses that manufacture goods.
The Organizing Committee also planned an in-depth discussion forum on digital transformation efforts for enterprises within the context of the Fair, with around 150-200 visitors participating. Thousands of tourists came to the fair to learn about items and products from regions that were participating in the display.
