Indonesian department store operator Matahari has opened its 140th outlet, in Bekasi.

The store, the ninth to be opened this calendar year, is in Revo Town, at Jalan Ahmad Yani No. 1, Pekayon Jaya in South Bekasi.

Miranti Hadisusilo, corporate secretary and legal director of Matahari, said the company is committed to continue to expand its store network.

In 2015, Matahari has added stores in Singkawang, Buton, Kupang, Karawang, Jogja, two stores in Jakarta, Lombok, and Bekasi.

“This is a part of Matahari’s expansion plan in various cities in this year. Prior to the opening of this new store, Matahari has been present in Pondok Gede, Blu Mall Bekasi, Bekasi Grand Mall, and Metropolitan Mall. Matahari Revo Town Bekasi is the fifth store presents in Bekasi”, Miranti added.

With a total area of 6700 sqm, its stocks apparel from more than 100 leading brands, accessories, cosmetics, household appliances, shoes and bags which are available with special prices to meet the needs of its customers.
