GOPIZZA is embarking on an ambitious expansion plan within South Korea, aiming to double its global sales to one million pizzas monthly by December. The company plans to scale up its presence to over 2,000 GS25 outlets, South Korea’s largest convenience store chain, by the end of this year. This move is set to establish GOPIZZA as a ubiquitous pizza brand accessible nationwide.
Jay Lim, Founder & Global CEO, emphasized the transformative potential of the GS25 partnership in overcoming longstanding challenges and driving rapid growth. “We’re not just a pizza brand; we’re a food tech company,” Lim stated. “Our development of a compact oven specifically designed for convenience store environments has been a game-changer.”
Expanding into various retail locations is a key component of GOPIZZA’s strategy to increase accessibility and operational efficiency. “Our goal is to become the most accessible pizza brand worldwide in terms of location, speed, and affordability,” Lim explained.
By leveraging existing retail infrastructures, GOPIZZA enhances profitability and passes cost savings on to consumers, offering pizzas at around five US dollars within five minutes. “In addition to our success in South Korea, we’re rapidly expanding in India and Thailand,” Lim noted. “India, with its rapid store openings, and Thailand, where we plan to open 20 new locations this year, are critical growth markets.”
Lim highlighted the company’s proactive approach to forming partnerships with local retail giants in new markets. “We aim to collaborate with chains like 7-Eleven in Thailand and Family Mart in Japan, replicating our successful Korean model,” Lim remarked. “This strategy ensures exponential growth beyond Korea’s borders.”
GOPIZZA is seeking multi-unit franchisees with extensive QSR experience to help grow the brand internationally. For more information about GOPIZZA franchise opportunities in your region, please visit
