Cambodia and Singapore will expand their commercial partnership.

Cambodia and Singapore have committed to collaborate to expand bilateral commerce.

The agreement was reached this week on the margins of the ASEAN Economic Ministers’ Special Meeting 2022 in Bali, Indonesia, by Pan Sorasak, Minister of Commerce, and Gan Kim Yong, Singapore’s Minister of Trade and Industry.

Both parties discussed and shared opinions on the AEM Special Meeting, the ASEAN Single Window project, the formation of the ASEAN Unique Business Identification Number (UBIN) System, the promotion of digital commerce, the use of renewable energy, and property rights.

They also agreed to exchange visits by appropriate parties to Singapore in the near future to share experiences and study the aforementioned issues in depth in order to develop the private sector and SMEs. Vy AKP-L
