Skylark Holdings, a Japanese restaurant chain operator, plans to expand its overseas presence by opening 170 restaurants in the US and Asia. The company’s CEO, Makoto Tani, said that they will focus on expanding their flagship brands, Gusto and Jonathan’s, in the US market, while also targeting Southeast Asia for growth.
Skylark aims to increase the percentage of its revenue generated from overseas operations to 20% in the next few years, up from the current 5%. The company is also considering acquisitions and partnerships to accelerate its overseas expansion.
